Severe Thunderstorms and Strong Winds
Severe thunderstorms produced severe wind gusts, some significant. There were pockets of extensive wind damage, and two EF-0 tornadoes occurred in DeKalb and Kane counties. Hail larger than quarter size (1″ in diameter) was observed in portions of Winnebago County.
